Salvage Crafts

 

 

We offer quality furniture and accessories made out of reclaimed/driftwood found in Agro and sustained forests of central India. The wood is collected by the forest dwellers and is handcrafted by the tribal and local craftsmen.

 

Each piece of furniture is carefully retreated, handcrafted and finished with environmentally friendly methods. We use reclaimed wood not only to bring out the strength of the wood's maturity but because we believe that we are reducing the need to continue to wipe out our forests. Recycling wood extends the life of the hardwood, diverts old wood from landfills and reduces the need to produce furniture from new wood.

The other much used raw material in our products is rope, made out of plastic bags discarded as Industrial packaging  waste and thrown away fabric pieces collected  over from different  places.

These materials are then cleaned, processed and given shape and structure of rope which is durable and weather resistant.

This initiative helps to reduce waste
